Cowan Systems is a National truckload carrier. We specialize in providing high quality dedicated fleet services for companies requiring first-rate performance. Cowan Systems offers dedicated fleet services which provide a customized transportation package designed to meet the specific needs of the shipper; such as specialized equipment, strict timetables and custom reporting.

Overview:

As a Corporate Recruiter at Cowan Systems, you will play a crucial role in our organization by sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet our company's staffing needs. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and manage the entire recruitment process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of talent acquisition best practices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for connecting exceptional candidates with rewarding career opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Talent Sourcing and Acquisition:

* Utilize various sourcing techniques (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, referrals) to identify and attract qualified candidates.

* Build and maintain a diverse candidate pipeline for current and future hiring needs.

* Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, cultural fit, and interest in the position.

Collaboration with Hiring Managers:

* Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.

* Provide guidance and expertise to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.

* Schedule and facilitate interviews, gather feedback, and coordinate hiring decisions.

Candidate Experience and Engagement:

* Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely communication and support throughout the hiring process.

* Ensure a positive candidate experience by delivering timely feedback, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.

* Maintain ongoing communication with candidates to nurture relationships and promote a positive employer brand.

Recruitment Process Management:

* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to offer acceptance.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

* Generate reports and metrics to track recruitment performance and identify areas for improvement.

Employer Branding and Talent Acquisition Strategy:

* Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract top talent and enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.

* Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition.

* Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies and programs.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a recruiter in a corporate or agency setting.

* Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with candidates and hiring managers.

* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

* A proactive and results-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
