* The Patient Safety Assistant is effectively involved with maintaining the safety for assigned patients through continuous observation and surveillance. Communicates with the Registered Nurse and patient care team to ensure a safe environment for psychiatric and/or medical patients requiring constant observation. Completes duties as assigned under the direct supervision of the RN.
