  • Job Summary
    • The role of the Project Manager within the Strategy and Innovation Project Management Office (PMO) is to be the activation agent for strategic initiatives across CoxHealth. The Project Manager is responsible to help leaders with project planning, scoping, managing, and facilitating strategic projects from ideation through to completion. The Project Manager will coordinate with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including project sponsors, owners, team members, and impacted departments, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. The Project Manager will help senior leadership align project resources, monitor progress, break down barriers to success, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.

    • Education
      • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, or a healthcare related field
        Preferred: MHA, MBA, or Master's in Project Management
    • Experience
      • Required: At least 3 years’ experience in healthcare, business, or related leadership roles
        Preferred: 5 years’ in healthcare leadership
    • Skills
      • Must be able to work effectively with staff, public, and external agencies
        Must have the ability to take initiative and to exercise good judgement and decision-making
        Problem solving
        Critical thinking, conflict management, negotiation, and personnel development
