CoxHealth is Hiring a Staff Nurse - Ambulatory Infusion Center Near Springfield, MO

Summary

This position will require occasional on call for weekends and holidays
Job Summary
- The Ambulatory Infusion Center is a high volume outpatient center specializing in infusion therapy. Therapies include administration of specialty medication, chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, antibiotics, and hydration. Requires excellent IV and assessment skills, ability to monitor medication side effects, obtain orders, scheduling or rescheduling of appointments as needed and other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Education
  - Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  - Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Experience
  - Preferred: Previous nursing experience
- Skills
  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  - Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
  - Exhibits valuable time management skills
  - Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
  - Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
  - Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri
  - Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days
  - Required: ACLS and PALS must be obtained within one year
  - Preferred: ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.
