Role Description

This is a full-time on-site/hybrid Litigation Attorney position located in Oxnard, California. This position will represent clients in civil litigation, legal proceedings, draft legal documents, conduct legal research, manage discovery, trial preparation and maintain case files. We are looking for a team player with litigation and case management skills.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in California
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in civil litigation
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
• Expertise in the areas of tort liability litigation, the defense of health and human service providers and public entities is ideal.
• Proficiency in legal research and case management software
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail, legal analysis and writing abilities
• Familiarity with legal ethics and professional responsibility rules
