**CNA/Caregiver**

Resident Care Layton, Utah Minimum Experience **Mid-level** Compensation **$14-$15hr**

Apple Village Assisted Living is hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time CNA's/Caregivers to provide care to our residents. The caregiving staff is an active part of our compassionate care team. The CNA/Caregivers interact directly with residents by providing comfort, dispensing medications under RN supervision, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living needs. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and an energetic individual to be a vital link between our residents, the nurse and other facility staff.

We are looking for a FULL TIME, PART TIME, and WEEKEND Caregivers or CNA's (Certified Nursing Assistants) for DAY, SWING and GRAVE shifts.

Hours:

* Day Shift: 6am-2pm, 6am-10am

* Swing Shift: 2pm-10pm, 4pm-8pm

* Grave Shift: 10pm-6am

Responsibilities Include:

* Assisting residents with personal hygiene needs.

* Assist with daily living activities.

* Check Vital Signs and record daily information in the resident's care plans.

* Administer medications under the Rn supervision.

* Assist the nurse and other staff as needed.

* Adherence to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements.

Qualifications:

* Basic computer skills

* Able to pass a background check

* Drug screen before hire

* Complete a TB test upon hiring if you have not had one in the last 6 months

* Aquire a Food Handlers permit within two weeks of hire

* Must be Covid Vaccinated

* Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively

* Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")

* Pay Range: $15 /hour with CNA, $14/hour without, $1.00 differential for Grave Shift

* Potential for $.50 raise within your fist 3 months of hire and yearly raises based on performance.

* Must be 18 years old or 17 if certified
