Project Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Position Description:

This position will engage electric vehicle battery machine professionally management and develop better production flow and EV battery production management team in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production manage, including troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution, and equipment modification/improvement /up-grade for EV battery Machines. As EV Battery machines technology are develop, the advanced knowledge and continuous new technology will be learning and implement to production and machines (bilingual in English and Korean)

Job Responsibilities:

Performs advanced engineering and EV Battery machine management tasks.

Perform PC based manage/inspection program developed by vendor that using various maintenance/inspection logic.

Develops and applies engineering standards and procedures and provides advice on issues within the engineering field.

Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure operation of machinery.

learning and implementing new technology machines with R&D team.

Continuously improve new developed EV battery machine capabilities

Prepare manual and training for new team members.

Available to understand Machinery CAD drawing.

You will be responsible for working with other contributing mid-senior level Mechanical Engineers and manage teams to create exciting and complex designs that incorporate.

Manage and assist with work on all phases of various mechanical engineering projects including design development, preparation of presentation drawings and specifications, design review, coordination.

Communicate directly with the production department to coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas

Prepare and manage periodic preventive maintenance schedule

Keep records of all preventive maintenance and troubleshooting works

Coordinate with outside sources to schedule maintenance for more complex issues

Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintains a safe work environment following all safety requirements

Prepare and maintain maintenance related documents (ie. daily reports and check sheet)

Proven leadership abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Plan, budget, oversee, schedule, track, and document all aspects of assigned project(s)

Establish project scope and customize project plans

Work closely with upper management and to ensure the scope of each project is on schedule

Monitor project progress, identify issues in advance, and initiate appropriate escalations

Identify and determine scope of work related to 3rd party needs

Interact and communicate with all stakeholders from different lanes of business

Perform updates with executive leadership and escalate any issues that will impact cost, schedule or budget

Other equipment maintenance and repair tasks as assigned
