Colonial Pipeline is the largest refined products pipeline in the United States, transporting more than 100 million gallons or 2.5 million barrels per day. Colonial transports various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, home heating oil, jet fuel, and fuels for the U.S. military through a pipeline system. About the Technology Planning, Reporting and Financials Manager Position As the Technology Planning, Reporting and Financials Manager, you will be responsible for the overall Technology portfolio including budget and financial planning and reporting, roadmap development and reporting on progress, Technology Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development and reporting and overall Technology workforce planning, budgeting, and management. The Technology Planning, Reporting and Financials Manager will provide regular updates on portfolio, financials and metrics to the Technology Leadership Team, the Colonial Leadership Team and when appropriate the Colonial Board. What You Get to Do: Develop and maintain the overall Technology Roadmap including providing visibility to all ongoing projects, timing and interdependencies and risks. Develop reports on the progress against Technology plans throughout the year to be presented to the Technology and Colonial leadership teams. Facilitate the Technology Planning quarterly roadmap reviews for the Technology leadership team by working with Technology counterparts to populate roadmap templates. Coordinate with Technology leaders on collecting budgets for the annual/quarterly planning process. Monitor and report on progress against Technology plans throughout the year; forecasted spend vs actuals to the Technology Leadership Team; Technology resource estimates; and Operational Metrics across Technology organization. Report on operational metrics to establish baseline for improvement activities across Technology. Develop materials to provide regular updates to Senior Management as needed. What You Bring to the Table: Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance or in a related field of study from an accredited college or university; will consider a combination of experience and/or education. Ideally, 6 years of portfolio management and/or Project Management Office (PMO) experience. Experience working on projects and portfolio management tools, and as a Portfolio Manager in the technology sector. Experience keeping key projects and programs aligned with overall business strategy and effectively deliver on commitments. Waterfall and Agile Methodology experience. Proven experience communicating and presenting to Executives. Experience with procurement processes including Requests for Proposals and Statements of Work. Commitment to consistently adhere to policies and procedures and be a positive example for others by demonstrating the Company’s core values of Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Safety, and Excellence in completing work assignments.
