Job Description
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for assigning work to supervisors and inspectors for the completion of Receiving/In-process and Final Inspections of aircraft parts and assemblies in accordance with department work instructions and procedures, as well as customer specifications. The Quality Manager has the responsibility to insure that work and work processes are performed in the most efficient manner possible.
Essential Functions
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in inspecting aircraft assemblies, components, and parts; directs workers in quality assurance inspection and testing, to assure that established Customer and regulatory standards are met; assigns training of new workers to qualified workers. Trains employees in work instructions and other process training. Reviews reports and confers with QA/QC, production, engineering and management to solve work-related problems. Has direct input with and performs the annual reviews of other inspectors.
Qualifications
The salary range for this position is: $95,000-$151,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and other factors allowed by law. Individuals are not typically hired at or near the top of the salary range.
