Construction Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and willing to learn on the job. This position is essential for maintaining the workflow on construction sites and supporting skilled tradespeople.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed for various projects.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks effectively.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety on-site.
• Perform physical labor including lifting heavy objects, digging, and moving materials as required.
• Assist in the installation of structures, fixtures, and other components as directed.
• Participate in site cleanup activities at the end of each workday.

Skills

• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
