CNC Machine Operator
Shift : 2nd & 3rd . $20 - $25 per / hour Depending on experience.
Sign on bonus .
Shift Premium.
Position Summary :
- The primary responsibilities of this Lathe / Saw position are to feed our segment production line.
- Rough & finish mill twin screw extruder conveying segments.
- Finish mill twin screw extruder kneading segments.
- This position may be trained and moved to other work centers according to customer and company needs.
Essential Functions :
- Setup and run CNC lathe along with automated saw.
- Setup and run multiple Mazak & Doosan Vertical Mills.
- Examine materials to ensure conformance to established standards & accuracy
- Perform minor equipment maintenance
- Comply with standards and procedures
- Complete required paperwork as necessary
- Perform other job responsibilities as required
- Operating multiple machines simultaneously
Knowledge / Skills / Experience :
- HS education and 2 years of related experience.
- Understanding of precision manufacturing tools and their proper use.
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of GD&T symbols and tolerancing along with basic blueprint reading
- Ability and willingness to follow directions and work independently as well as with team
- Good verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and the ability to work in a highly motivated, team driven environment
