Finance Manager

$90,000 - $110,000 plus bonus

CPS Recruitment is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager with a strong background in manufacturing accounting and financial planning and analysis (FP&A). This role will be pivotal in driving profitable growth, operational efficiency, and productivity across numerous projects. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to project accounting, contract analysis, and month-end financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with site leaders and the business unit CFO to identify growth opportunities and enhance operational efficiencies.
• Manage P&L responsibilities, including profitability analytics and KPI reporting.
• Develop forecasts and annual budgets for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Review weekly results with site leadership, driving initiatives to mitigate risks.
• Ensure timely completion of month-end close deliverables and review account reconciliations.
• Prepare and present monthly variance analysis of actuals versus budget and forecast.
• Oversee supply chain analytics, ensuring material savings impact the P&L.
• Track and analyze project performance, including order, revenue, and backlog metrics.
• Conduct monthly contract review meetings to assess project profitability.
• Manage project cash positions and ensure timely project closures.
• Perform annual standard cost reviews and monthly absorption analysis.
• Oversee working capital controls and cash forecasting.
• Ensure accurate reporting and controls for capital expenditures (Capex).

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in manufacturing accounting.
• Strong forecasting and FP&A skills, with an ability to dive into contract details.
• Proficiency in month-end close processes and KPI reporting.
• Exceptional Excel skills, including pivot tables.
• Experience in project accounting, focusing on material and labor costs.
• Familiarity with OneStream (preferred but not required).
