CPS Recruitment is looking for committed and experienced Occupational Therapist for a healthcare organization in Rome, GA. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to manage and oversee occupational therapy services for an assigned group of patients in a home setting. The ideal candidate will deliver direct patient care, supervise COTAs, and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a patient caseload, providing timely care as well as documentation per the established plan of care and physician orders.
• Evaluate patients' abilities to perform daily activities, develop plans of care, and set short and long-term goals.
• Design, develop, and fit patients with orthotic devices as well as adaptive equipment, providing instruction on proper use.
• Observe, record, and report patients' reactions to treatment as well as changes in condition to the physician.
• Maintain communication with the multidisciplinary team, updating schedules, patient data, and physician orders as necessary.
• Support effective communication and collaboration with physician oversight as well as branch supervision.
• Delegate care elements to appropriate healthcare workers under minimal supervision, following legal and policy guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Georgia or willing to relocate and obtain license to practice
• Current state driver’s license (or willing to relocate and obtain GA state DL), auto insurance, and a well-maintained vehicle.
• Minimum 1-year experience as a licensed OT in a clinical care setting or home health (preferred).
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from AHA.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in developing patient care plans and fitting orthotic devices.
• Experience in managing and supervising COTAs.
