Pharmacy Technician - Full Time 
Highlands Behavioral Health System

As a full time, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician at Highlands Behavioral Health, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications;medication room audits, daily paperwork filing and running reports for the hospital. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Schedule:This full time, nonexempt, 40 hours per week, position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. In addition, there are 2 federal holidays this position will work each year. 

Pay Range: $23-$27/hour based on experience.

About the Facility: Highlands Behavioral Health is an innovative, 86-bed hospital offering comprehensive psychiatric care for adults and adolescents. The average census is 70 beds. Highlands Behavioral Health is located in Littleton, Colorado, with easy access to major highways and surrounding communities. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are weekdays and holidays from 8:00am-4:30pm and weekends 10:00am-2:00pm. The pharmacy utilizes automated dispensing cabinets. In addition to the Director of Pharmacy, there is a per diem staff comprised of six staff pharmacists, three pharmacy technicians, and one pharmacy intern.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Colorado Pharmacy Technician license in good standing 
• Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
• Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
• Effective communications skills, both verbal and written

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• Hep B3 Series (or declination) 
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
• COVID Vaccine-Full
