Our client is a specialty chemical manufacturer with products with many applications. They are currently looking for a hands-on Senior Project Engineer for their facility in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago.
As the Senior Project Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage multiple capital projects at once from conception through implementation
- Adhere to safety policies and standards locally, federally, and company wide
- Prepare and manage all relevant project documentation, estimates, services, suppliers, schedules, etc.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and under budget
Salary Range: $120,000/year - $150,000/year 15-30% bonus

As the Senior Project Engineer requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment; chemicals preferred
- Previous experience managing projects from conception to implementation
- Experience with project design work
- Familiarity with ASPEN software is a plus
