As a Project Manager, you'll lead our teams of foreman and crew leaders in executing these superior results. You'll craft strategic plans, monitor project progress and changes, help define and set project financial goals. We are looking for a project manager who enjoys the complex nature of project navigation and addressing challenges, assigning resources, overseeing logistics, and ensuring seamless communication across teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

● Develop strategic and operational plans for major projects, monitoring and reporting on project outcomes and financial goals.

● Coordinate project schedules, equipment, materials, and other needs, maintaining clear communication with project team members.

● Provide oversight of logistics, equipment, materials, and financials for multiple projects.

● Review and update project schedules collaboratively with the project team.

● Recommend changes to stay within budget and timelines, developing alternate plans if needed.

● Assign and coordinate labor and equipment resources to projects.

● Work with contract administration to coordinate pre and post construction contracts, certified payrolls and other documents.

● Create team and division schedules and delegate tasks appropriately.

● Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary.

● Ensure compliance with safety regulations, and quality standards.

● Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits.

● Conduct site visits to inspect workmanship and resolve any issues or conflicts.

Skills & Qualifications

● Excellent communication skills to connect with teams, contractors, and stakeholders, mitigating delays.

● Understanding of market and regional factors impacting project schedules.

● 2 years of Construction management/Superintendent experience.

● Strong attention to detail and timeliness.

● Ability to read and understand plans, drawings, and specifications.

● Knowledge of schedule logic, construction management methods, and sequencing.

● Knowledge of means and methods of construction management.

● Ability to maintain collaborative relationships both internally and externally.

● Current driver’s license and insurance with a good driving record.

Location

This position will require locating or ability to commute to Tumalo Oregon daily. CR Contracting strives to create a team atmosphere and culture which is promoted with a local open office atmosphere.

Travel

Travel is a key component of the Project Manager role. This includes overnight travel a few times a month for multiple days per project in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California and Nevada. Our busy season follows fair weather and is busiest from April through November. Additionally the Project Manager travels for the construction meetings, which includes, preconstruction meetings to present project schedules, submittal packages and discuss anticipated project execution with project owners and representatives. As well as project progress visits and closeout walk through s with project owners and representatives to confirm punch list completion, quality control and project final expectations.
