We have a large, on-site, fabrication shop in which we fabricate all our commercial casework.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a charismatic and driven individual to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and an existing understanding of commercial cabinetry products. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets while providing exceptional service to our clients.
This position will start as “Sales Support” with the intention of transitioning to a full “Project Manager” as you upskill, learn our practices, and become more autonomous. Once a Project Manager, you will earn a commission on your projects/sales in addition to your wage.
Responsibilities:
· Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the commercial cabinetry market. Build and maintain relationships with architects, contractors, designers, and business owners.
· Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice on product selection, and recommend solutions that meet their requirements.
· Product Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings, including materials, finishes, and design options. Stay updated on industry trends and competitive products.
· Proposal Preparation: Create detailed and accurate quotes and proposals for clients. Prepare and present product samples, renderings, and specifications as needed.
· Sales Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and terms with clients to close sales while ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.
· Project Coordination: Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth transition from sale to installation. Address any issues or changes that arise during the project lifecycle.
· Customer Service: Provide exceptional post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly.
Experience:
· Previous experience in commercial sales for casework or flooring strongly preferred
· Previous experience in carpentry, flooring, or casework installation a plus
· Strong computer skills, able to interface with Quickbooks, Microsoft Suite, and use project management software
· Ability to work on multiple projects while maintaining a meticulous approach to your projects
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
· Effective communication and customer service skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
