Job DescriptionCraftsmen Contractors is currently seeking an experienced HVAC Duct Mechanic Foreman for the Panama City, Florida area. This is for a long term ongoing commercial project working day shifts (starting at 6:30am) Mondays thru Fridays. Temp to perm position.
You will need to pass a criminal background check.
HVAC Duct Mechanic Foreman: $25 - $30/hr. depending on experience.
No per diem is offered.

HVAC Duct Mechanic Foreman: $25 - $30/hr. depending on experience.

Job Duties:
- Supervise Duct/HVAC workers
- Develop work schedules
- Ensure projects are at or under budget
- Report project progress to superiors
- Be a liaison between construction workers and supervisors
- Ensure workers are using safety practices
- Perform quality checks
- Install duct work and duct fittings
- Help carry out ducting Installations as per approved drawings
- Follow correct installation practices, standards and safety measures
- Read and comprehend blueprints, produce materials and material take-offs
- Interpret equipment submittals and manufacturer's installation manuals
- Previous experience working as an HVAC Duct Mechanic Foreman for HVAC - at least 3 years of commercial experience required with both metal and duct board and installation.
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience with hoods, exhaust fans, other mechanical equipment and copper piping is a plus.
- You will have to pass a criminal background check in accordance to local laws and regulations.
