This is a seasonal position to start with potential opportunity for long term. Forklift operator is responsible for operating and managing sit-down forklifts to load and unload materials, deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, or storage area. Operate forklift in support of the shipping and production department. Looking for candidates who are open to work any shift.

Responsibilities:

• Effective communication skills
• Ability to complete daily forklift checklist and inspection
• Product set up for all lines as needed
• Immediately report equipment repair and unsanitary conditions
• Responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines.

Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment.
• Follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a necessity
• Team player and people person
• Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 72 per week

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overnight shift

• Weekends as needed
