We are currently hiring for a ROVING PATROL OFFICER position in the Craigsville area of Nicholas County. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid West Virginia driver's license, consent to a background check, and be able to pass a drug test. Applicants must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Duties Include, but are not limited to:

• Patrolling premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises;
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences;
• Investigate disturbances;
• Patrol properties to maintain safety (this includes walking long distances on uneven terrain and at NIGHT – **non-negotiable**);
• Investigate suspicious activities;
• Monitor access or flow of people to prevent problems;
• Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas;
• Write operational reports;
• Warn individuals about rule violations or safety concerns;
• Request emergency personnel.
