How You Will Make An Impact
Join our APT Group as a key team player, contributing to all aspects of installation and support for new and existing improvement projects within manufacturing. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation and enhancement of our manufacturing processes.
- Contribute as a technical resource for new products, projects and/or technologies by testing and evaluating the performance of equipment or systems to ensure that they meet specifications.
- Work closely with various Engineering groups during appropriate phases of projects to ensure effective installations and rollout of equipment to the factory floor.
- Wire low voltage control boxes.
- Assist with the assembly & testing of new inspection systems.
- Assist with the assembly & testing of new mechanical systems.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an engineering technician in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
- Good track record of managing projects and working in matrix environment with sound technical acumen.
- Experience working with electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical assemblies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred
- Associate’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.
- Experience in continuous web manufacturing processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience supporting machine vision systems.
- Knowledge of printing or converting equipment a plus.
