Overview:
Our busy law firm is currently seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of Civil Litigation Assistant. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, exceptional problem solving skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor with clients
• Maintains client confidentiality
• Provides administrative support to paralegal, including clerical and administrative tasks such as word processing, e-filing and copying
• Creating various correspondence including letters and legal documents
• Notary preferred

Skills:

• Must be organized
• Excellent writing and computer skills
• Ability to operate telephone, photocopier, computers, and other pertinent office equipment
• Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient
• Ability to communicate effectively & precisely and to prioritize and independently manage a great number of deadlines and tasks
