Job Description

The responsibilities for this position include driving a water truck on a highway construction project. This person is required to do other construction-related tasks during the workday. Typical work conditions are in an outside environment with temperatures that may exceed 100 degrees in the Summer. Responsibilities

• Operate water truck to control dust on construction sites
• Safely navigate through active work zones
• Comply with all safety regulations and traffic laws
• Communicate effectively with other crew members and supervisors
• Assist with other production tasks when not operating the water truck.

Basic Qualifications

• Must have a class A or B Commercial Driver's License.
• Must have Tank Endorsements within 1 week of employment with Cranford.
• Must be able to drive a standard/manual transmission truck.
• Must have the ability and be willing to work a 12-hour day/shift, including some nights and weekends.
• Must be able and willing to walk, stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor including lifting items at least as heavy as 50 pounds.
• Must have the ability and be willing to work outside in extreme weather conditions that may exceed 100 degrees in the Summer.
