Crawford Thomas Recruiting is Hiring a Diesel Mechanic Near Paris, IN
Salary Range: $36.09 - $38.09 per hour
Shift: 2 pm - 10:30 pm, Monday-Friday. Includes a 2nd shift premium of $2.65/hr.
Responsibilities: Perform all tasks on a truck, including engine overhauls and electrical diagnostics Service and repair semi-trailers Ensure compliance with DOT regulations Complete tasks in an orderly and timely manner Contribute to a team working environment Follow instructions and work well with others Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Requirements: Certification in air conditioning, Paccar engines, Cummins engines preferred (or willing to achieve certification within one year) Diesel mechanic experience Welding experience Frequent physical activities including bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and twisting Ability to lift 60 lbs. up to 100 lbs. continuously Repetitive grasping, turning, and fine manipulation Overtime is required as needed for various reasons, such as covering for someone on personal leave or FMLA, or due to an influx in equipment needing repairs.
