Location: Long Island City, NY
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20 - $25 per hour

Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Production Technician to join their pharmacy team in Long Island City, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately filling all medication orders for Pharmacist verification. This position demands a high level of accuracy and efficiency, along with the ability to manage inventory and order medications.
Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Fulfillment: Print labels and fill medication orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare medications for Pharmacist verification, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels. Order medications and supplies as needed. Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile any discrepancies. Operational Duties: Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order. Assist with any additional tasks as directed by the Pharmacist or management team.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a pharmacy or related field preferred. Familiarity with MicroMerchant software is a significant bonus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work on your feet for the entirety of the shift. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Manual dexterity to handle medications and operate pharmacy equipment.
