Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director/Administrator for a Child Care Center to oversee daily operations of the facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and childcare, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Site Director shall be the educational and operational leader. The Site Director's duties include, but are not limited to:

• The planning, operation, supervision, and evaluation of the educational programs, curriculum, services, and facilities; handing any emergencies in a prompt responsible manner;
• Interviewing of teachers, employees and staff of potential employment, making referral to owner for the hiring process to begin;
• Conducting annual evaluations of all teachers, employees and staff; also refer to HR for contract counseling;
• Communication with parents/guardian over children's progress and behavior;
• Overseeing facility maintenance and ensuring a safe environment for staff and children;
• Managing the day-to-day operations; ensuring center maintain compliance to licensing, CACFP, and SUTQ regulation and standards;
• Developing or causing to be developed appropriate rules and requirements which are reasonably necessary in order to implement policies established;
• Developing and implementing procedures to collect data, metrics and other relevant information to document student progress, student academic performance and student achievement, using recognized and reliable methods and procedures;
• Organizing and participating in staff meeting and parent teacher conferences

Requirements:

- CPL 3 is preferred but not required.- Previous experience working with students in a child care setting.- Ability to educate and inspire children from 6 months to 12 years old.
