Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as Tent Installers. As a Tent Installer, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently installing party tents for various events and occasions. This is a hands on role requiring attention to detail, physical strength, and the ability to work outdoors. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

- Install and dismantle west coast frame tents as per customer's instructions

- Safely transport tent materials, including loading and unloading to and from event locations

-Ensure all required parts and tools are loaded onto the vehicle

-Secure tents to the ground using stakes, weights, and straps

-Ensure the tent is level and secure and able to withstand rain and other weather conditions

- Transport event materials using vans, trucks, or trailers

- Drive vehicles to deliver event supplies to different locations

-Load and unload other rental items (tables, chairs, etc) into delivery vehicles

- Perform heavy lifting as needed to move equipment and supplies

- Communicate effectively with team members and event organizers

- Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times

-Assist with warehouse related tasks, including cleaning and maintaining equipment.

Requirements:

-Must have previous experience in installing commercial grade party tents or similar structures

-Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors for extended periods of time

-Familiarity using hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in tent installations

-Attention to detail and ability to problem solve independently

-Flexibility to work based on event schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Skills:

- Experience operating moving equipment, vans, trucks, and trailers

- Proficiency in driving box trucks or vans preferred

- Knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Please note that this position requires flexibility in working hours, as events may take place during evenings, weekends, or holidays. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
