Job Title : Network Engineer

Duration : 6 Month of Contract

Job Description:

Network Engineer with expertise in SD-WAN solutions, Network Access Control (NAC) and LAN technologies, and the basic knowledge of Zscaler and Azure networking for our Global IT team located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

• Responsible for planning, building, and running one or more global network services.
• The focus will be on the operations of our current SD-WAN, Network Access Control (NAC), and LAN infrastructures with additional touch points on SASE (Zscaler) and Azure Networking.
• As a secondary responsibility, you will help us with the comparison of vendors, testing of vendor products, and pilot phases of implementing new vendors for these product lines.
• Your overall responsibilities include, but are not limited to, roadmap definition, architecture design, implementation and 3rd Level incident/problem management.
• In close collaboration with other Hilti cross-functional IT teams, vendors and external partners, you will provide innovative and reliable services – enabling our employees to connect to our customers and to offer excellent solutions and services to our customers worldwide.

Skills:

1. Ideally 3-5 years of experience in designing and managing enterprise-wide, SD-WAN, Network Access Control (NAC), and LAN
2. A strong security mindset and understanding of network security best practices, standards and processes
3. Strong analytical skills with an affinity for IT technologies including in-depth understanding of standard networking and security protocols
4. Excitement for new technologies, great learning ability & willingness
5. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into reliable and value-creating technical solutions
6. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and team skills in an international environment
7. Fluent in English (verbally and written)
