Regenified™ was founded in 2022 by the pioneers of regenerative agriculture. Many great stories have been told including one showcased in the 2020 film Kiss the Ground and the 2023 sequel Common Ground. Regenified's purpose is to protect the narrative around regenerative agriculture from greenwashing, while providing recognition and reward to the farmers and ranchers who successfully implement ecosystem-saving practices as part of their operations.
Our mission is to transition the world's supply chain to regenerative agriculture by offering the most reliable standards and verification services. To date, our standards have been approved by the largest grocery chains in the world and we have been actively verifying large acres of farmland producing a variety of crops and produce.
What You Will Do
Regenified™ is seeking a dynamic People Operations and Culture Manager to build and scale our people programs and initiatives. As the first dedicated People team member, you will be responsible for building, developing, and supporting an effective and engaged team at Regenified™. Drawing on your people operations experience and expertise, you'll partner with the leadership team to create a high performing culture.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement our people operations programs, processes, and policies so they can effectively scale with the company.
  • Develop and deploy initiatives to drive employee engagement and a strong sense of team and community across our company.
  • Create a framework for effective and impactful communication and collaboration across the organization through a variety of channels.
  • Work cross-functionally with department heads to support employee development, coaching, and performance management.
  • Build and manage our recruitment strategy, including management of third-party recruiting partners.
  • Welcome and onboard new team members to ensure a positive experience that allows for a smooth integration into the team.
  • A champion of our culture, you'll partner with leadership to continue to define and support the evolution of our culture.
  • Partner with third-party vendors as needed, for support with benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, etc.
  • Own the management of HRIS system Rippling, to keep it current and effective, and process payroll accurately and efficiently.
Who You Are
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years managing a Human Resources or People Operations function.
  • Prior experience with a rapidly scaling tech startup or VC-backed growth stage company strongly preferred.
  • Experience setting up internal people policies, systems, and procedures in a growing company.
  • Working knowledge of standard human resources practices, such as payroll, benefits, employee development, performance management, and compliance.
  • Global expansion experience is highly desirable.
  • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills.
  • Superb organizational skills, attention to detail, and easily able to prioritize.
  • A highly ethical individual with the highest level of integrity and the experience, confidence, and trust to effectively address sensitive HR and business issues with complete discretion and confidentiality.
  • Possess career goals to grow within the function of People Operations.
  • Engages others with empathy, service-orientation, and focus on company success.
  • Experience with Rippling or a similar HRIS required; proficient in MS Office Suite, Google, Suite, and video meeting platforms.
  • Passion for sustainability and regenerative agricultural practices.
  • Experience working in a fully remote organization is highly desirable.
