Creative Behavioral Connections is Hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Near Reno, NV

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a clean background check

· Must have a high-school diploma or equivalent

· Registered with the BACB is a plus.

· Registered with Nevada ABA Board is a plus.

· Complete a 40-Hours RBT Course less than 180 days old.

· Experience providing direct supports to individuals with developmental disabilities.

· Ability to work with a variety of clients regarding age, functionality, and with minimal direction.

· Knowledge of behavioral based interventions and implementation of such interventions

· Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook systems

· Ability to utilize a copy machine, phone system, and other office materials as necessary for the position

· Ability to respond quickly to phone calls, text messages, and emails

· Flexible availability, ability to work during the evenings and during weekends.

· Current on all required trainings and certifications as necessary for the position

· Transportation that is reliable and insured in the state of Nevada (Driver’s insurance on file with HR)

PREFERRRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Registered with the BACB is a plus.

· Registered with Nevada ABA Board is a plus.

· Completed 40-Hour RBT Course less than 180 days old.

REPORTS TO:

· Board Certified Behavioral Analyst, or Board Certified assistant Behavioral Analyst as assigned

· Administration officials as necessary for the requirements of the position

JOB GOAL:

· Registered Behavior Technicians will assist in delivering behavior analytic services to improve and positively impact the community and population in which they will serve.

RESPONSIBILIITES:

· Provide direct services to clients that align with the science of behavior analysis as outlined in the individualized treatment plan of that client.

· Understand and implement specific teaching strategies to aid in the reduction of challenging and interfering behaviors to promote skill acquisition.

· Complete appropriate documentation within the deadline determined by the needs of the client.

· Report any issues or concerns regarding implementation to the direct clinical supervisor

· Collect and document data as outlined within the client’s individualized treatment plan.

· Attend all meetings and training required, and as necessary for the success of a client on caseload.

· Maintain ongoing communication with all constituents (families, teachers, supports, etc.).

· Keep current with continuing education courses to maintain RBT certification are necessary as required by the Nevada ABA board and the BACB.

· Meet with supervisor monthly or as needed to report progress and concerns. Issues of importance must be reported immediately.

· Adherence to the RBT ethics code as outlined from the BACB and the Nevada ABA board.

· Maintaining hours as assigned.

· Commitment to understand and implement tasks as outlined in the RBT task list provided by the BACB.

· Adherence to supervision requirements as outlined from the BACB and the Nevada ABA board.

· Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines

· Perform other duties as assigned.

BASIC & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting,

crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time.

· Must be physically present at the assigned job location, which may include home, school, and community placements.

· Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites within the Las Vegas Valley.

· Must have a valid Nevada Driver’s License & insurance in good standing

· Must have a valid CPR certification

Hiring for Part-Time, primarily 9-315 ,330-730, or a combination of both M-F and some availability on Saturdays

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

  • Reno, NV: Relocate before starting work (Required)
