Our client, a full service branding agency is currently looking for Account Manager with Professional Services / Tech / Finance experience join their team.
Candidates must be able to go onsite in NYC 2 days a week during summer months (Tues & Thurs) and 3 days the rest of the year (Tues - Thurs).
Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day management of a group of accounts / clients
• Overseeing the development of each account and increasing the volume of work when appropriate. Spotting

and developing opportunities with our clients, turning projects into accounts.

• Actively seek new business opportunities, especially from current accounts.
• Take an active role in new business, seeking new opportunities, and bringing them to the attention of the

senior team.

• Project management of each account: estimating, scheduling, budget management and invoicing.
• Ensuring that each project is delivered profitably and so helping to grow and build our business.
• Managing the production elements of large projects and campaigns, delivering a joined-up approach, and

liaising with multiple teams and suppliers.

• Supporting on-going business development activity, involvement in and management of pitches &

credential meetings.

• Understand spend on projects to feedback an accurate position for sales reporting.
• Mentoring and managing the account managers and helping them to develop their skills (Senior Account Manager & Account Director)

Requirements:

• Have exceptional communication skills both internally and client facing. Clear, concise and friendly.
• Have clear reporting skills, knowing when to escalate issues with Client Strategy Director and CEO.
• Have strong negotiation skills, knowing when to push back and when not.
• Have superb time management skills, knowing what to prioritize and when.
• Can work at high speed and intensity, whilst maintaining attention to detail.
• Be financially competent and confident with tracking accurate position in sales sheet.

There is no official bonus scheme in place, it is purely discretionary. The designer would report to Londons Creative Director, with daily contact but expected to work independently out of London hours.
NY office hours are 9am-6pm.
