Creative Circle is Hiring a Copy Editor/Proofreader - Copy Editing, proofreading Near Washington, DC

Our DC based advocacy client, is looking for a Copy Editor/Proofreader to work 4-5 hours per week for 12 weeks.
Copy Editor/Proofreader Responsibilities
  • Proof/edit/copy a variety of articles, news stories and other content
  • Edit text created by team members into flawless, final content for client's website
  • Utilize reference material and acceptable sources to edit and fact-check copy
  • Ensure adherence to brand style guidelines
Copy Editor/Proofreader Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years experience as a solid Copy Editor/Proofreader
  • Proficiency with Google Docs
  • Working knowledge of project management software preferably Notion- but Asana,Trello, etc. is acceptable
  • Experience in a highly collaborative work environment is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with an advocacy group is a plus!
