Calling all Copywriters with experience in the healthcare and/or pharma space. Our pharma partner is looking for a Copywriter/Editor to join their team in a freelance capacity.
This is a fully remote position. Onboarding tasks will take place in January /February 2025,and will ramp up to 30-40 hours per week through 2025 with a potential to extend. A laptop will be provided.

This Copywriter Will Be Responsible For
- Brand copywriting for derivative/adaptive or tier 2/3 work. Initial concepts will be given and this candidate will be tasked with building out content for long and short form work.
- Evolving existing healthcare professional/patient/consumer communication copy.
- Writing key deliverables including product claim updates/refreshes, video script writing, manuscripts, non-personal promotional messaging, brand content grids, print ads, visual aids, direct mail, sales promotion, email, presentations, social media and others as needed.
- Reviewing and consulting for grammar/tone.
- Writing for A/B testing.
- Quality checking and ensuring all final copy matches brand standards and fulfills the initial project brief request
- Taking existing medical content/claims into Adobe Experience Manager and copying content over to new formats consistently and accurately.
- Author new claims and manage the AEM library.
- Work alongside marketers and PMs to ensure legal/regulatory review.
- Reviewing and consulting for grammar / tone.
- Quality checking and ensuring all final copy matches brand standards and fulfills the claim request
- 3 years' experience in copywriting/editing.
- Must be flexible and adaptable in a fast paced, startup environment.
- Must be collaborative team player, comfortable working in teams/buddy systems and being on camera.
- Must be familiar with Wrike or Adobe Workfront and PC proficient.
- Demonstrated success in producing agency-quality creative copy solutions that leverage customer insights, effectively deliver on project requirements, and align to overall brand strategy.
- Proven ability to tailor existing concepts to meet current business needs/align with evolving brand strategy.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and/or other content management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to understand a wide variety of therapeutic areas (e.g., diabetes, Alzheimer's, oncology, and immunology).
- Demonstrated experience working for or with medical sources of authority such as Medscape and Epocrates to develop copy for medical resources.
- Experience and participation in agile-based projects.
- Some experience with AI tools
