Our client is the Packaging team of a global tech leader seeking a Packaging Design Project Manager for a 1-year assignment with likely extension that will be 40 hours/week and onsite 4 days/week (Monday-Thursday) in the Plano, TX office.

The Packaging Design Project Manager will:

- Track the development and execution of prepaid and postpaid retail boxes, carrier specific retail boxes, inbox collateral, localization, print production, and sample approvals

- Plan, organize, and manage multiple assignments and projects, including reading and interpreting marketing documents, reviewing design files (PSD/Photoshop files), dielines, colors, and contracts (or related documents) based on corporate legal and marketing standards and philosophy

- Create and manage the overall project tracker for the Packaging team

- Partner with team members and cross functional teams to manage mid and long term strategic project packaging roadmaps, tasks, report on plans and schedules, drive escalation and address resolution of issues, and manage mitigation plans for project risks

The Packaging Design Project Manager must have:

- 5 years of professional experience in packaging design project management or print production

- Skills in Adobe CS, Excel and PowerPoint

- Understanding of die-lines, tick marks, etc.

- Ability to prepare written plans and schedules, identify objectives, coordinate and direct project teams, manage agency tasks

- Bachelor's degree
