Creative Dining Services located on the Dordt University Campus in Sioux Center, IA is looking for a full-time Supervisor for the Defender Grille. The hours will be 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. This Supervisor maintains the retail dining services operation, works to ensure that the expectations of the client and Dining Services Director are met and/or exceeded, while responding to market trends and customer demands, producing desired outcomes in a fiscally responsible manner. Works professionally and cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services management team, assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary. 

Core Responsibilities:

• Training, scheduling and supervising all Work Study students
• Maintaining an organized system of comprehensive retail record keeping
• Estimating and forecasting food consumption in the retail operation, monitoring production volumes, and adjusting future production as needed
• Maintaining established food presentation standards
• Maintaining good public relations with all customers, clients, staff, vendors, and the community; achieves high levels of customer and client satisfaction

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Retail sales experience
• College degree preferred
• ServSafe Certification preferred
