Join our team as a Junior Accountant and embark on an exciting journey where you'll play a vital role in safeguarding our hotel's assets and ensuring financial reporting excellence.

In this hands-on role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced Controller, gaining invaluable knowledge and skills in financial management, accounting practices, and industry standards. You'll assist in directing the hotel's financial activities, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and HEI Hotels and Resorts' rigorous standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant:

• Accounts receivable: billing, credit, and uncollectible account reporting.
• Reconcile credit card back-up, bill out various credit cards, and maintain meticulous logs.
• Set up new accounts following established credit policies and assist in reconciling open account status items.
• Process approved invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy, account coding, and timely payment.
• Handle vendor inquiries, reconcile vendor statements, and maintain organized invoice files.
• Support Controller with other day-to-day accounting operations.

What we are looking for in a Junior Accountant:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Prior internship experience ideal
