Join Our Team as a Staff Accountant!

Position Overview: Are you a hardworking, highly motivated individual looking to advance your career in finance? We are seeking a dynamic Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is pivotal to our day-to-day operations and reports directly to the Operations Manager. Be a part of our fast-paced, highly successful, and energetic company!

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and enter all incoming bills and invoices promptly.
• Collaborate with personnel on cost coding and approval of job-related invoices.
• Process weekly payroll efficiently.
• Verify transaction information, schedule, and prepare disbursements for invoice payments.
• Monitor and reconcile credit card charges, addressing payment discrepancies, refunds, returns, and miscellaneous charges.
• Assist with weekly cash reporting.
• Resolve billing issues with vendors.
• Support in preparing reports for quarterly and year-end reporting.
• Maintain accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
• Ensure financial security by following internal accounting controls.
• File accounting documents to maintain financial historical records.
• Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Proficiency in Sage 100 (a must), Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Construction experience preferred
• Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter
• Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Skilled in executing and following through on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency.

This position is onsite with a salary range of $75,000-$85,000.
