Accounting Manager
We are seeking an Accounting Manager ! You will be responsible for the effective management and profitable operation of your assigned branch office.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

• Management: 5-6 staff accountants (supervising and answering questions)
  • Bank, cash, subsidiary, financial statements
• Doing what is needed even if that means work that is "lower level" such as pulling info or filling in for an absent staff accountant
• Learn the companies processes to be able to tell others what to (understands this will take time)
• Accuracy of cash accounts daily
• Prepare the financial statements: P7L, balance sheet Oversee month-end close, journal entries, general ledger and follow the close schedule
• Be able to answer questions without asking the staff every time (progress reports, owning your role)

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• Previous accounting manager/controller or similar experience required
• CPA preferred but not required
• Zoom experience and computer skills
• Knowledge of common banking practices
• Strong leadership qualities
• Ability to work under pressure
