ACCOUNTING MANAGER

OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER ROLE:

• Reconcile bank accounts and federal grant accounts
• Accounting Manager prepares budgets and grant reporting packages
• Prepare journal entries related to payroll, accruals, reconciliations, revenue, depreciations, and expenses
• Accounting Manager maintains fixed assets and monitor depreciation schedules
• Support internal and external auditors

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER ROLE:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Accounting Manager needs a minimum four years of accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Strong organization skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, experience with an ERP system
• Team-oriented, highly effective communication skills at all levels of an organization
• Accounting Manager needs a thorough understanding of debits and credits
