OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING/PAYROLL SPECIALIST ROLE:
- The Accounting/Payroll Specialist will manage a dynamic, high-volume weekly union payroll, covering up to 130 employees across multiple diverse projects nationwide.
- Execute precise calculations for manual layoff checks, skillfully handle garnishments, subsistence pay, and ensure the accuracy of certified payrolls.
- The Accounting/Payroll Specialist will champion other payroll-related projects to ensure our systems remain efficient and compliant.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACCOUNTING/PAYROLL SPECIALIST:
- An Accounting/Payroll Specialist with experience in Union/Construction payroll is a huge plus.
- Moderate experience with Excel.
- Ideal candidate has experience with multi-state payroll.
