AP CLERK

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

• CFS has partnered with a local real estate company that is looking for an AP Clerk
• Company has a legacy spanning 80 years & is a beacon of stability in their industry.

OVERVIEW OF THE AP CLERK ROLE:

• Perform accurate data entry of invoice details into the financial system.
• Verify and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
• Scan and electronically file paper invoices for record-keeping purposes.
• Allocate invoices to the appropriate property or department with precision.
• Engage in occasional communication with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment-related issues.
• Perform general clerical duties as needed to support the Accounts Payable function.
• Assist in maintaining organized and up-to-date records of financial transactions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE AP CLERK ROLE:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education in accounting or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
