Our client, a leading retailer in the flooring industry, is growing their accounting team! The ideal Billing Analyst is friendly and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position is located at a high-volume store in Franklin, TN. As a Billing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for our retail operations. You will collaborate with various teammates to analyze billing data, resolve discrepancies, and optimize billing procedures to support our financial objectives.
Tasks And Responsibilities Of The Billing Analyst
  • Review and analyze billing data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries.
  • Call credit references for new customer applications and file new customer credit applications appropriately.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify billing errors and implement corrective measures.
  • Generate billing reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of billing strategies to optimize revenue collection.
  • Participate in sales team meetings to review open orders
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR 3-5 years experience in billing, accounting, or financial analysis role.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Self-starter and Independent worker
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excel Skills: Sorting, filtering, pivot tables, vlookups
  • Highly Organized
  • Great Sense of Urgency and Prioritization Skills
Details$50,000 - $60,000 salary
Fully Onsite M-F 40 hour work week
