Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Manage the accounting staff
• Review accounts payable and receivable entries daily to ensure accuracy
• Assist with month-end close & review financials with property managers
• Prepare financial reports for company's investors on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Set up new entities in Yardi
• Preform monthly escrow and reserve account reconciliations
• Perform annual CAM reconciliations

Requirements of the Controller:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Real estate/property management experience
• 2 years of experience in a Controller role
• Higher education strongly preferred (Master's in Accounting, CPA)
• Yardi Voyager experience a big plus!
