Job Title: Director of Human Resources

Job Description for the Director of Human Resources role: We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with employment laws. If you have a strong background in HR management and are looking for an opportunity to shape and lead our HR strategies, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities of the Director of Human Resources:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Manage employee relations and provide guidance and support to management and employees.
  • Implement performance management systems to enhance employee productivity and development.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive and cost-effective programs.
  • Develop and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Manage HR budget and resources effectively.
  • Nurture a positive working environment and promote company culture.

Preferred Experience for the Human Resource Director:

  • Proven experience as an HR Director or in a senior HR management role.
  • Thorough knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience with HRIS and other HR software systems.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Location: 100% onsite in Elkhart, Indiana

Annual Salary: $100,000 to $120,000 (salary range is indicative and may vary based on experience and qualifications)
