Financial Reporting Manager - External Reporting
Manage consolidations process and consolidated financial statement preparation for real estate joint ventures. They are privately held and have joint ventures that issue both US GAAP and IFRS financial statements. As the number of JV's increases the team of two will continue to grow within this reporting department.
Top Responsibilities of Financial Reporting Manager :
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and consolidation financial statement processes
- Review journal entries related to significant transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions and financings.
- Manage two at Staff and Senior Accountant level as far as reviewing consolidated financial and operating reporting for the specific portfolios
- Manage outside firm needs regarding audit for organization and JV investors.
- Preparation of investor reports.
- Lead in special projects, provision changes, and prepare ad hoc reports as needed.
Experience:
- Degree in Accounting with 5-15 years of Accountant experience desired
- External reporting experience from public accounting or corporate
- Management experience of 1 year
- Familiarity with real estate corporate books a plus
- Excel skills to include pivots and v-lookup
