- Monitor sub-awards and maintain grant-related financial activities, including ledger entries, expenditure reviews, and compliance with financial policies.
- Prepare and reconcile grant activity reports, manage invoice reimbursements, and oversee the grant closeout process.
- Ensure adherence to governmental financial guidelines.
- Develop and maintain grant coding processes.
- Assist in financial reporting and time/effort tracking.
- Conduct cost analyses and create statistical reports.
- Support the annual Uniform Guidance audit by preparing schedules and reconciling grants with financial statements.
- Act as a liaison between auditors and grant personnel.
- Oversee restricted fund accounts, including transaction approvals and budget management.
- Collaborate with budget managers to maintain account accuracy and procedural compliance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, non-profit/governmental accounting, and financial document analysis.
- Grant administration experience and knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
Working Model: 100% in office in San Antonio, TX
