HR Manager - Great nonprofit!

Are you seeking an HR opportunity in a mission-driven environment where you can make a real difference?

Our client is a leading provider of community-based care, seeking a passionate and experienced HR professional to join their team!

In this role, you'll play a key role in supporting their dedicated staff and shaping the company culture. You'll oversee all aspects of the employee life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and professional development. You'll also ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, oversee payroll, and partner with leadership to develop strategic HR initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of a talented and diverse workforce.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where employees feel valued and supported.
• Coach and guide managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
• Develop and oversee training programs that align with state regulations and our organizational goals.
• Partner with leadership to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Oversee payroll processing and maintain accurate personnel records.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• 5 years of HR management experience, including experience in a social service setting.
• Solid understanding of the unique challenges faced by social service professionals.
• Proven ability to use trauma-informed HR practices.
• In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a mission-driven organization with a focus on employee well-being and risk mitigation.
• Proficient in Paylocity software.
• HR Certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
