Summary/Objective:

We are in search of a Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for woodworking and a knack for optimizing manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will proficiently use Fusion 360 for 3D modeling, CAM, and documentation, translating designs into print-ready assets. This role acts as a crucial link between design and production, ensuring a smooth manufacturing process that maintains the high-quality standards CHaSE Manufacturing is renowned for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with internal design teams and clients to understand and actualize design concepts.
• Utilize Fusion 360 to develop 3D models, CAM, and documentation as per provided designs.
• Utilize SolidWorks to develop and maintain legacy documentation based on provided designs.
• Employ agile methodologies through a Kanban board for efficient task management, documenting and prioritizing tasks diligently.
• Optimize designs for manufacturing, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Work alongside the production team to facilitate a seamless transition from design to manufacturing.
• Continuously explore opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, focusing on cost, time, and quality optimization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably within the woodworking industry, is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to Fusion 360 for 3D modeling, CAM, and documentation.
• Experience working in an agile-like environment, with proficiency in task management tools like Trello.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
