Junior Accountant (Hybrid, North Suburb)

Our client, a food & beverage manufacturing company located in the north suburb of Chicago, is looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team! This person will be an integral part of the Finance team, assisting with core accounting and reporting processes. The team is on a hybrid schedule with 2 remote days per week.

This job in a nutshell:

• Assist in the month end close and year end close process and associated reporting
• Perform Intercompany billings, transactions and reconciliations
• Participate in the administration of risk management
• Perform the monthly Cash Flow Forecasting for the entity
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that they are clearly documented and recorded
• Assist with the company’s External and Internal Audit process

We are looking for (key requirements/preferences):

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles (AP/AR, GL)
