Position: Senior Accountant
Work modality: 100% in-office
The Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive accounting support to the Controller. The primary responsibility is to ensure the accurate and timely completion of daily accounting functions in accordance with finance policies and procedures.
Day-to-day responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Oversee the income audit, billing/collections, accounts payable, and daily cash deposits processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
- Perform daily accounting and clerical tasks to support operations.
- Provide exceptional service by promptly researching, tracking, and resolving accounting issues in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure timely and accurate deposits.
- Monitor and report on cash handling procedures.
- Assist accounting staff with month-end tasks and research as requested.
- Reconcile ledgers with the general ledger on a daily basis.
- Utilize Excel, Workbooks, Access, and other relevant software to submit reports as required.
- Undertake any other duties necessary to fulfill the primary purpose of the position.
What we are looking for in a Senior Accountant:
- 2 years of general accounting experience
- Undergraduate degree in accounting or other related business field
- Experience with accounting and POS, as well as intermediate Excel skills
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with colleagues.
